TURKEY - The Tunca River overflowed as rain effecting Edirne combined with changes in the river bed due to construction of the Tunca Bridge.

A road next to the river used to access to Edirne from the Karaagac neighbourhood, remains under water.
Overflowing river banks hit the Sarayici region where the Kirkpinar Oil Wrestling matches are held.
The Yalnizgoz Bridge was closed to traffic. Properties near the river remain under water.
Overflow alerts were declared in Edirne as Bulgaria opened dam gates following the heavy rains.
Schools in the area are being closed for 4 days. Homes and facilities in the region are being evacuated. The residents were warned by announcements from Public Address loudspeakers.
